Nelson Lumber's top fence package styles as seen below are Rampart, Bastion, and Fortress.
Rampart Classic Traditional Style
Traditional style fence packages come with two rails (2X4 or 2X6) aligned vertically to resist sagging and are available in 4', or 5', or 6'
Building supplies for a rampart style fence package may include:
Bastion Style
A robust fence with a top cap and two rails. It also includes sub-rails (1X4 or 1X6) opposite of the main rail to reduce sagging dramatically. This package is available in 4', or 5'.
Building supplies for a bastion style fence package may include:
Fortress Style
Our most solid fence available. The Fortress improves on the Bastion by adding a center rail and sub-rail. This package is available in 5' or 6'

Extra Fence Rails
If you plan to install your rails flat instead of on the edge we recommend an extra 2X4 rail to be installed on the edge below the standard bottom rail to help prevent sagging issues.
Gate Kits
We can provide Gate Kit options to build an accompanying gate to match your fence.
Steel Fence Clips
Fence rail brackets made from Steel make it easy to fasten fence rails to wood posts which allows for fast and simple construction with long-lasting, solid results.
Coated Screws
Screws with weather resistant coating which help to resist rust and have an easy-driving coarse thread for more secure, long-lasting results that standard nails can't provide.
Extended Posts With Post Caps
Leaving the posts slightly longer, to protrude above the top rails will give a more personalized and unique finished appearance along with a decorative fence post cap.
Concrete Mix
Use course grade concrete mix to secure the fence posts for a permanently straight and true fence.
Stain
Nelson Lumber offers a wide variety of staining options for your fence.

Painting your fence adds so much character to your property. Nelson Lumber offers fence painting materials at select locations.
